Redesigned noiseless pickups and more When it comes to electronics, the American Ultra Stratocaster features next-gen Ultra Noiseless pickups that were painstakingly designed to provide vintage Fender single-coil tone, without vintage single-coil hum. A push/pull S1 switch on the volume pot enables you to add the neck pickup to any of the first three switch positions, for expanded tonal possibilities.
