Vintage tones without humWhen it comes to the electronics, the HSS version of the American Ultra Strat is loaded with next-gen Ultra Noiseless pickups in the neck and middle positions. These pickups were painstakingly designed to provide vintage Fender single-coil tone, without vintage single-coil hum. In the bridge, sits one of Fender's patent pending DoubleTap hum buckers, with a push/pull S1 switch on the volume pot to move between humbucker and an expressive, hot-rodded, tapped single-coil for expanded tonal possibilities.
